On the Nature
of Things
Le opere del ciclo intitolato “On the Nature of Things”, ipotizzano magistralmente uno scenario autonomo e futuribile. Si tratta di un avvenire possibile, che, in quanto tale, può già essere presente in luoghi reconditi e dimenticati, in cui la presenza dell’uomo è solo citata ma ormai passata, nel quale la natura si riappropria dei suoi spazi, confermando in tal modo la sua posizione di protagonista indiscussa della realtà nella sua totalità.

La dialettica risultante da questi possibili scenari è tutt’altro che scontata e le scenografiche immagini regalateci da Salucci risultano vacillanti. Quel che ne consegue è un connubio esteticamente armonico e incongruente, creato dalla connivenza tra vividi elementi naturali che si insinuano negli anfratti di atavici luoghi semi-dimenticati col fine di scaturire una sensazione in bilico tra inerenza e disorientamento, rassicurazione e conturbamento, nostalgia e pienezza e che, a loro volta, suggeriscono all’unisono una rimessa in discussione degli scenari antropizzati precostituiti.

Uno scenario autonomo e futuribile nel quale la natura si riappropria dei suoi spazi.
